support Gold Star kids

As a volunteer, your dedication can positively impact the lives of Gold Star kids and foster their love of sports and fitness. We’re looking for a variety of volunteer roles, from help with administrative activities, to joining cheer sections for kids.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join (or start) a cheer section

We’re building a network of volunteers to participate in our DWYERFIRE Cheer Sections. These cheer squads gather at the sports and fitness events of our Gold Star Children and cheer them on. It’s all part of our mission to support Gold Star Children with our presence and encourage them to do their best!

If there's already a cheer section in your area, we would love to plug you in. If you are interested in starting a new cheer section, please inform us of your interest. We will start new cheer sections as soon as Gold Star Child interest and volunteer availability aligns within a geographic area.

SHARE YOUR TALENTS

DWYERFIRE is run by volunteers. Although our volunteers bring talents to our team— from accounting and fund-raising to event planning and marketing—the most important thing they bring is their passion to support and mentor Gold Star Children. You can help us make a difference in the lives of Gold Star Children by signing up.
